Experienced Vet Assistant/Technican and Receptionist
Pay: DOE (depending on experience)

Experience in small animal veterinary field required.
Sunshine Pet Clinic is a walk-in based small animal clinic. We do schedule surgeries and dentals. We also offer short-term boarding if space allows. Our covid-19 restrictions are still in place, so masks are worn and we are not currently seeing rooms. Patients are taken to the back where the exam is done and then a estimate is created to go over with the owner out front. We are a team, but more like a family, there is no hierarchy is job roles here. Everyone helps out. We are currently seeking a reception and/or tech/assistant that can learn the front and the back to be flexible with working both. We need an experienced team player who must be self-motivated and take direction on tasks that can be completed in a timely fashion, with or without supervision. Able to lift 50lbs or more, able to be on their feet all day, able to deal with clients as well as the pet patients. Radiograph certification and familiar with Clienttrax is a plus, but not required. Bi-lingual a plus, but not required. Duties included: blood draws, urinalysis, catheter placement, prepping for surgery and monitoring during surgery, cleaning, walking boarding pets, some grooming, etc.
Receptionist duties include greeting owners and patients, checking in and checking out, relaying instructions to owners, preparing charts and medications, making estimates, organization, refiling charts, stocking shelves, cleaning, and helping hold patients for technicians if needed. Answering phones, faxing records, and making copies. Ability to multi-task, lift 50lbs or more, good people person, and the ability to work as a team and independently.
- At least 1yr veterinary or relatable industry experience
- People skills
- Computer skills (knowledge of Clienttrax is a plus, but not required)
- Ability to lift 50lb or more with assistance and be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently.
- Proof of documentation to work in the United States.
Full-time Job (40hrs per week) preferred
Flexible schedule at 90 day probation period.
Radiograph certification is a plus but not required.
Training available - on the job.
Bi-lingual a plus, but not required.
